Flower Festival

Chiang Mai's flower festival celebrates the winter blooming of northern Thailand — the only region in the country with a genuinely cool season. Parade of flower-decorated floats, floral exhibitions in Nong Buak Haad Park, and an atmosphere completely different from the city's usual tourism. February is also one of the best months to visit Chiang Mai: mild temperatures (25-28°C during the day), no rain and the cleanest air before the field-burning season (March-April).
