Dubrovnik Summer Festival
Date: July–August
Theatre, opera, classical music and dance at historic locations in the old town: Lovrijenac Fortress, the Franciscan Monastery Cloister, the Rector's Palace Atrium. The oldest festival in Croatia (founded in 1950). Tickets from €15 for minor concerts to €80-100 for opera at the Fortress. It coexists with the July tourist invasion, so tickets need to be bought months in advance.
