Colombian fashion week, one of the most important in Latin America. Medellín is Colombia's textile capital and Colombia Moda brings together local and international designers, buyers and press at the Plaza Mayor exhibition centre. There are public events alongside the professional programme: runway shows, pop-ups and showrooms. Medellín's textile industry employs more than 50,000 people and has a history of technical innovation since the 1960s.
